Adjective Opposites : A Crossword Puzzle for English Learners

ADJECTIVE OPPOSITES

We created a crossword puzzle for English learners using the following adjectives and their opposites:

cold, colorful, dangerous, dry, empty, funny, short, slow, small, smooth, square, unbroken, weak, young

Their opposites serve as the hints for the crossword puzzle.

It can be used in an English class for reviewing the spelling of the listed adjectives, or in an ESL setting for learning the opposite words to given adjectives.

Let us know what kind of puzzles and themes you would like to see on the blog.

Mother's Day : A Word Search Puzzle for English Learners

Below you’ll find a word search puzzle we have created especially for English learners and their teachers. Word searches are a simple but engaging way to practice vocabulary: they’re easy to start, satisfying to complete, and suitable for both children and adults alike.

Aside from being entertaining, they also help to develop spelling skills and reinforce word recognition in a relaxed, low-pressure way. Whether used in the classroom or at home, this activity provides a small but meaningful sense of accomplishment, one word at a time.

¿Qué tiempo hace? : A Matching Exercise for Spanish Learners

¿Qué tiempo hace?

Below, you’ll find a free weather-themed matching exercise for students, along with a poster for teachers to use in the classroom. These materials are perfect for introducing or reviewing basic weather vocabulary in Spanish in a fun and interactive way.

For those who want to take it a step further, I’ve created a small vocabulary practice pack available on Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT). It includes extra activities to help students strengthen their understanding of weather terms while practicing reading and writing skills.

I hope your students enjoy learning about the weather in a hands-on and engaging way!
