CHINESE AUTUMN WORDS
Below you will find two word search puzzles that we created for Chinese learners. In the first grid, you need to find the Hanzi words; in the second, the Pinyin spellings. Once you are ready, try matching the Hanzi to the Pinyin terms. Have fun! :-)
We used the following words in the puzzles:
十月 (shí yuè) : October
丰收 (fēng shōu) : Harvest /Bumper crop
中秋节 (zhōng qiū jié) : Mid-Autumn Festival
毛衣 (máo yī) : Sweater
月饼 (yuè bǐng) : Mooncake
围巾 (wéi jīn) : Scarf
苹果 (píng guǒ) : Apple
南瓜 (nán guā) : Pumpkin
树叶 (shù yè) : Leaves
秋季 (qiū jì) : Autumn season
桂花糕 (guì huā gāo) : Osmanthus cake
栗子 (lì zi) : Chestnut
凉爽 (liáng shuǎng) : Cool / Crisp
菊花 (jú huā) : Chrysanthemum
落叶 (luò yè) : Fallen leaves
橡果 (xiàng guǒ) : Acorn
